This is a three-session course that will be held online. You will need a computer, Internet access and either speakers or headset with microphone to participate. If you do not have computer speakers or have trouble hearing over your computer, you can connect the audio to your phone by dialing the phone number and entering the access code provided.

In addition to the class you will receive a Parent to Parent Resource PDF full of helpful articles, tips and worksheets to use in your own family. The resources may be downloaded DURING the class.

Parent to Parent: Supporting Your Child at School | Course Overview

Do you know how to set your child up for success in the classroom?

Upon completion of the course, you will learn how ADHD affects learning and how to request support for child with ADHD in a school setting. CHADD (the National Resource on ADHD) has developed this course to provide educational information and support to individuals and families who are dealing withADHD and learning to navigate the challenges of ADHD across the lifespan.

Throughout the course, family members will learn how ADHD affects learning, how to request support for your child, and about your child’s educational rights.
